Things Happening for the Past Few Days

Hey, you know what Durina Pancake plus Milk Tea give you? A Peanut taste, because I tried it yesterday and it tastes somewhat like peanut. Eww....

Monday, we had Sec 2 band. We only managed to practice on one piece which is Disney Magic Kingdom. The reason behind why only get to work on the piece for only 10 minutes was because Mr Marvin Khoo wanted to work on our sight-reading on the rhythms. Thus, we worked with us on '14 weeks to a better band (Junior High Edition) '. We worked from exercises from 1 to 10 and their related studies.

Tuesday, we done another BasIC Player (offline) assignment. And I got 48/48! Another full marks! YAY! :D So after we were dismissed from school, we went to opposite shop for lunch. We were supposed to have Maths Olympiad at 3pm but we were very bored by it, hence we dragged our lunch and we only went for Maths Olympiad at only 3.30pm. :p Then, we went for theory class and the home.

Wednesday, which is also today, we had assembly about the comtemporary dance and malay dance SYF pieces. My thoughts of them... Comtemporary dance: Gives me a sense of craziness, madness and helplessness - which is what I felt most of the dance piece. Also, I think that the 'roses' which these dancers held on when they dance kind of symbolises hope. Malay dance: Honestly, I thought that the piece was quite common and it does not look like it would get gold award. No offence though. Anyway, it gives me a sense of like common villagers and they lived happily (?) I think they are also quite a big lack in the size of dance members. Perhaps, that's the main problem. In conclusion of the 2 pieces, I think that they indeed put in a lot of effort. Comtemporary dance, very expressive and well-prepared. Malay dance, enjoyable.
And thus, assembly ended early! :D So, we went to opposite shop to buy bubble tea and cheese fries and we brought it back to school to eat it. After lunch, I went to the DnT workshop to see if whether they had refllied the wood sandpaper. And, they did! FINALLY!!! Then, I went for Sec 1 and 2 band. Due to the Science Buskers, the Sec 1s could only make it at 3.30pm al least. Hence, De Souza wanted us to go for sectionals. During sectionals, after we had done finish the practices, Amanda had all our birthdays written and we did the feet and hand thing again! It's so fun! :D

Lots of Love,
Leow Rou Shan :)

Bright and Sunny
Today is a bright and sunny day. Probably too bright and sunny. I went to school to do my DnT and was hoping to finish up my toy. However, the teachers and helpers decided to slack and they close the workshop much more earlier than expected causing me to only step foot in the workshop for only about 20 minutes!! In conclusion, I had to go back to school tomorrow to finish my toy which should be finished today if only the workshop did not close early because of those teachers and helpers! ARGH! Because of the early dismissal, we had nowhere to go and we had to slack around the school and the opposite shops. We went to AMK hub when we were staving. We went to desert house to settle our lunch. After that, I went home early to make my spectacles at the sop downstairs with my mum.
After having done with my spectacles, I went home and my mum showed me something SUPER SPECIAL AND NEVER EVER SEEN BEFORE IN SINGAPORE! It's a.......... 'Black Bread'! :D

It's real name is Black Charcoal Bread and it's 100% edible! (Because I ate it. :D ) And it tastes like what normal bread do but just a bit sweeter. I ate 2 pieces of it! My mum said that she bought it in Malaysia. The tour guide told them that this kind of bread is often seen in TaiWan. :D You should try it some time. At first, I was, too, reluctant to eat it. But, I forced myself to because my mum said that it's very nice and my sister also said it's good too! I can't resist the temptation, thus I took my first bite and was still disgusted. After many bites, I overcame the fear and liked the taste of it. :D

Went for band at 9am. Was almost late but fortunately, I made it! :D Tried to call Mao Yue when she didn't arrived but she didn't pick up. I found out later that she lost her phone. Man, won't be able to contact her if there's a need. Mr Khoo told us that we sounded sleepy and told us to go a walk with him too because he was sleepy. We walked about 3 rounds around the parade square. After that, we went to the band room to do some breathing exercises and Mr Khoo talked to us about the Wednesday assembly and solos. He said that all the soloists played well. He also said the percussion were out of tempo causing the whole band to be out of tempo too. After that, we went back to band room 2. After doing some warm-ups, Mr Khoo gave us 2 pieces to sight-read - Loch Lomond by Frank Ticheli and Singapure Suite by Jan Van der Roost. For Loch Lomond, I'm playing the snare drum, small triangle and chimes. It is quite easy to play because the piece is very slow. I wanted to swoop parts with Mao Yue with the timpani part because the timpani part is very fun and cool to play. ARGH! Nevermind. For Singapura Suite, I played the tambourine and the base drum part. Since Mr Khoo complained that Mao Yue seldom played the snare drum part, Mao Yue had to take the snare drum part. I think the tambourine part is quite cool. Had to 'roll' the tambourine. :D
After band, we went to Mac for lunch. (Shouldn't elaborate much on this since I've elaborate so much on band :D )
After lunch, we went for DnT. I had only finished 50% of my toy. Man, I will have to go for tomorrow's DnT workshop to complete my other 50% of toy. *Moans* I made a cat-like toy. It's like a puzzle with eyes, nose, ears and mouth to put inside the holes of the face. I just hope I can complete my toy.

Jump Shot!
Finally a post with picture!!! :D

Today's AMKsian Family Day. We went to Bedok Reservoir to have our Picnic, Cross-country and Dragon-Boat race and Fun Walk. Though we successfully reached there on time, we had to separate our class into 2 sit in 2 different small buses. Girls one bus while the boys the other. Why? Because of one stupid, irritating, annoying, selfish and idiotic nitwit/ nincompoop. He was late for over 40 minutes and what's the reason? OVERSLEPT. He's so irresponsible. He blamed it on his parents that they went to work so he cannot have anyone to fetch him to school when he overslept. What kind of lousy excuse is this? How not filial! Because of him, we are the last class to set off! Why is he in our class? WHY?! ARGH!
When we reached, we set up for our picnic. We brought sandwiches, fruits, bee hoon, potato chips, tidbits, snacks and drinks. I think we had over-brought. Anyway, when our friends went for the Cross country race, we went with other classmates to cam whore. TeeHee~ It was really a magnificent view of the reservoir.

After we are dismissed, we went to take bus to AMK Interchange. They went home while I am gonna take another bus to Serangoon for my tuition. I reached early, thus, I sat on the table at the void deck to do some work. When it's time, I went up for my tuition. When there was still some time left, she gave me some poems to read and she will ask for my sense for the poem. There was 4 poems. One of it, which I like most, was The Shroud by May Wong.

The little childish happiness
Is taken off, together
With the old school uniform.

Never will I be in that uniform again.
And who will remember
The little girl with her two pigtails
With her petticoat always too long
And her thousand naughty and silly ways?

The old uniform
With the little childish delights and giggles
Is folded and locked up in the top drawer
Forever.

Shall I cry?
I am no longer a child
My eyes so dry
It's not easy to cry.

Yet I hear someone weeping-
Crying louder and louder- howling
I feel her tears-
She is the girl locked up in the top drawer.

This poem clearly shows what we all had experienced. What we all must go through. We are not primary schoolers anymore. That primary school uniform, which carries the happy and childish and innocent memories, should be overcame. We are secondary schoolers already, nobody will recall our acts in our pre-school. We can never go back to primary school and regain the happy times. Though we want to cry about it but we can't, because it useless to cry over spilled milk. However, it's painful to bottle up those feelings inside us. Dilemma.
We are upgrading ourselves each day. We must live always live in the past and forget what is happening now and what will be happening in the future. We must carry on with our lives and face the harsh reality out there instead of hiding in the past with happy memories. We should not also act like a child and not taking up any responsibility for our own actions. Although when we were children and we make mistakes, the adults would forgive us and say,"It's okay. You're still a child." and smile to us like nothing had happen. We should face the music.

Hey!.

(The following post is not in chronological order :D)
Took theory test grade 2 today. Found the paper quite manageable, to say the truth, it was easier than grade 1's paper. Probably I was more stressed out when I took the theory grade 1 test because it was the first theory test I took. :p

Took the ICT Basic Player(Offline) thing and I got full marks! 58/58! HAHAHAHAHA And I still got time to spare. :D I know I know, I am very proud at of it. :D Hahaha. Then after I had finished, Pei Jun and I watched Happy Tree Friends! Then we got over this HTF video, Snip Snip Hooray, which we think it is quite gross. But I still can take it.

Teacher changed our seating today during CI. I was one of them. I was changed to the back, beside a 'crazy' woman. :D But it was still okay. However, I was at the 3rd column which the teacher would walk fro and back beside me. Haiz... Must do homework already. D:

Hi! :D

Planning to go either 31 or 33 or 34 or 35 next year. I didn't choose to go 32 because I will have to take Pure Chemistry which seems like HELL to me. Also, I don't want to take D&T or 'O' Level Music. I will take Additional Maths (I hope I can cope ><). I want to take Triple Science but I don't think I can make it. TeeHee. I want to take Literature but I hope I can make it (Cross my fingers).

RAWR!!!!!!!!!!!

Since I got nothing to post anymore but I still want to post, so.... I'll post another quote! Hahaha
