So today, after school, went for the Chinese Composition Workshop. The instructor intended to show us pictures to excite our thinking and also excite our brains to think. This was the second lessons and we had already learnt a lot. Total, there is 4 lessons only. After all, he did not show the pictures and the workshop today became a talk, or rather, a conversation. :D
The conversation was mostly about LIFE!

He went around asking people what are their aim in life. And some of us answered getting sleep, no homework and getting some rest. And Keyi(classmate) answered that he did not have. Then the instructor asked him whether he liked to look at girls and he answered yes. LOL! The instructor said that it is natural and it is also counted as a aim! LOL!
He also shared one of his experience when he met a 'lifeless' taxi driver. The taxi driver said that one of his college went to commit suicide. Taxi driver's life are boring, almost like a robot. 12 hours work, wash car, go home, on the TV and 10 minutes later, they'll fall asleep and their wives will call them to sleep in the bedroom. And the cycle repeats itself the following day and the following day and carries on. That's why the taxi driver's college went to commit suicide. The taxi driver said to the instructor that he is also gonna commit suicide soon. The instructor then ask him,"Will your family die if you work lesser by 2 hours?"
"I think still can."
"Will your family die if you work lesser by 4 hours?"
"Still can larh"
"Will your family die if you work lesser by 5 hours?"
"Can, but my son can't buy a new computer and can't eat Pizzahut that often."
The instructor realised that that's the problem. The taxi driver is living like a machine.
"How about this, you work lesser by 4 hours and find a hobby and you also can go for social activities and make more friends."

He also taught us a way to make you life more interesting and exciting.
It's sort of like a project too.
Make-your-life-more-exciting 30days(1 month) Project: (it's very simple!)
Take photos of things/events which excites you each day, then choose the photo of the thing/event that excites youthe most amongst the many photos you taken that day. After you have done this for 30 days, you can post it and look back and you will know that you have led a interesting life and the following days will be too!
I'm gonna start doing this tomorrow since it's the first day of the month. :D

Today, there's band again. Mr Benjamin Yeo sort of scolded us because of our bad results for Grade 3 Theory paper. And someone broke his record in his theory lessons of students' results and got single digit. Thus, he printed us a STACK of Theory practise paper. Dang. Plus, I haven't do finish my homework! URG!
Also, during full band. I think Mr Tan got a bit pissed with the band. He went sarcaaastic when telling the band some details. But, when playing Sinfonia, he praised Jing Jie saying that he saved the band and wanted him to be his god son. I'm proud to have such a good junior. Hahas. Maybe he will get the best recruit award. :D back to top?

The new timetable sucks.

It's so disgusting! OMG! 6 periods of English, Maths, Chinese, Science each per week! And on Wednesday, there is 3 periods straight of Chinese! And recess for Monday starts at 11:05am! THIS IS PURE MADNESS! Why the sudden change? We are not adaptable and are not versatile! You just don't understand do you? *Moans*

Anyway, I shouldn't let this irritating and annoying things get into my way. So, let's carry on! :D

Was inspired by Amanda Ong with her inline-skating skills. So, I went to search high and low in the shoe cupboard for the inline skates. I went to try it on but unfortunately, it's spoilt. Dang it. It's like it will slant to one side when you skate it. The inline-skate was quite old, so no doubt that the condition of it was bad.
Went for individuals from 9am to 12am instead of class outing. I'm such a committed band member. :D So after individuals, went for lunch and slacked till 2pm and went or sectionals with the Secondary Ones till 4pm. :D Learnt a few drumset rhythms with the help from XueQi and Gerald. :D
Tomorrow, I gotta go for the science project from 9am to probably 3PM!!! 3PM!!! Can you believe it?! 3PM!!! Gosh! But Mr Pang says it depends on how fast we all do it. How irresponsible! ARGH! And after that would be sectionals with Mr Ramu at 3.30pm. back to top?

When my family members asked me about my band camp, I then realised that the band camp was not fun at all. I realised that there was nothing much about this camp. It was just band band band and more band. It was boring to the max. Gosh. There wasn't anything interesting at all. There was no night trail! No games! No nothing! Man, and the seniors slept so early. No one to play to anymore. Last year, I still have friends and my direct seniors and other sections' seniors with me joking around the night. I guess I won't have this chance anymore.

Anyway, I am still gonna describe a little.

Day 1,
Sectionals. Usually, I love sectionals but I don't like this sectionals. Sectionals is the time when you practice your part and make it well and also bond among your section. I can't feel the bond between the seniors and me. Maybe just a little. They got their parts of Japanese Graffiti and Sinfonia and they took turns to play the drumset. Jan was playing the drumset and Gerald was teaching her. Sec 1s are supposed to have full band and they broke up for sectionals and Xueqi took them. They were having such a great time and I watched. I yawned. I felt a little sadness. I got frustrated. I stomped out of the Innotech room and went to the band room and watch the Sec 1s. I got in. I felt fresh. I felt alive. I felt it. I watched the Sec 1s practice their solo night.
Lunch. I was in food com. So, yeah. Gotta give out the food.
Theory test.
Drills.
Dinner and bath.
Sec 1s Solo Night! Overall, I think our section did pretty good. :D

Day 2:
Woke up early to go out and buy breakfast. We bought bread, jam, milk, cereal, Milo.
POP Rehearsal.
Lunch.
Dinner and bath.
Band.
Lights out!

Day 3:
Breakfast.
Photo-taking.
Drills.
Lunch. Pizza.
POP.
Junior and Reco Band Performance.
Dismiss.
Went Mac with friends and seniors.

This band camp, I felt, has pulled the seniors and me apart. I felt very distant. I felt as if they don't give a damn in whatever they do. All they care about is themselves. I felt quite left out. They don't wait for juniors. They just go when they are ready. Like when they are teaching me the water bottle trick. She taught me half way and she went to join the seniors and play already. I felt like I cannot fit in. I am just an outsider. That made me felt like I am just another nuisance. I felt very lonely. I felt very left out. There was no comfort. I wanted from the bottom of my heart to learn that water bottle trick. It looks so cool. If I am really that annoying and irritating to teach, if I am really very slow, if I am really very lousy, then I rather don't learn it all if I really gives you such a hard time. When I am with the seniors, I felt like I am not myself, I acted as another person. I have to act as another person to be with them. I felt uncomfortable.

I felt comfort when I am with the juniors. Probably because I spent more time with them and bond with them more. I felt very bonded when I am with them. It was fun. We spent such a nice time together. We joke around. We're just like friends. I felt very relaxed with them.

Actually, I just wanted your all to notice my existence. Don't treat me as if like I am dead, like I am not there at all. I don't want you all to change completely 180degrees and give too much much care and concern into everything I do. Just let me fit into the picture. That's all I ever wanted. Not too much and not too less. I am happy with that. :)

Or probably it's just me who is being too demanding. I should be grateful to have seniors to help me out. I think it's just the demanding me. I am complaining too much, I guess.

I will miss the graduating seniors! They are also our direct seniors. They taught us a lot of things. :D back to top?

I am bored and I got nothing to post about. So, here goes..

OMG! I think I have been addicted to Lady Gaga's new songs! >< But it's nice okay! :D

So today:
Woke up around 0830hours to bathe. I tried to leave my wet hair (after bathing) to dry on its own, but it didn't work after around 50 minutes. So, I took the hair dryer to dry my hair. I think that is the first time I ever used the hair dryer to dry my hair. I often left my hair to dry. Haha I know that I am very lazy. ><
So, I left my house at 1000hours for school to have individuals on my techniques and sight-reading.
However, the seniors called me over and wanted me to join for the recollection band as they did not have enough people. I can't say no because they needed help. So, I helped them for a while. I left at 1200hours because I need to have lunch and come back at 1245hours for drills. Being with the seniors and playing pieces with them is like an eye-opener to those who have never been with the seniors to play pieces before. I didn't expected them to be very serious because it's a Secondary 4 student conductor (which is the same age as most of the seniors). However, I can really see the bond between them. They would sometimes joke around and saying about one another solo's and it's really fun to play with them. :D
So, after lunch, we reported at the band room again and saw the seniors still playing. I guessed that they are playing Singapura Suite and Japanese Graffiti. It was like TOTALLY AWESOME! 确实是非常有经验学长! :D
Melissa, Zi Xin, Chen Ning took us again for drills! :D Miss their commands. :]
At the end of our drills, thankfully, the seiors did not told us to refil our bottle and drink finish. ;D
I borrowed a pair of sticks home because I haven't borrowed one pair of sticks for what almost seems like ages and I need to brush up on my techniques too. ><
So, after band, we went to the bubbletea shop to have some bites and drinks too. We also chit-chat for quite a while. Millie, Angie, Renee and Rayna have somereally lame-o conversation like 'What nose you like?' and 'What kind of clock you like?'. And they answered it with really hilarious answers like 'I like long long and sharp sharp noses. I like ang-moh noses!' 'I like Cu-cu clock!' LOL! Really had a wonderful laughing time with them even if it's short.
And we went home! :)
