Okay, so almost all the common tests are over and we had gotten back our results. Was quite saddening to see people around me doing better and better and me only still remain at the same spot. Thus, I've decided that I would use this September holiday to catch up and do some really fruitful revision so I will not be lagged behind. But I am very scared that I will only know how to say it but not do it. Rawr... (Sorry that I didn't post for a long time. I was too lazy. Oops!)
Today, an Australian Band(String) came to our school today to have an exchange with us. They played really well and they a lot of expressions. Later on they have a stage band which some of the violist will played other instruments such as saxophones and play the pieces. COOL! Also, they have that accent when they speak. They will say 'Beautiful' after they help people to take photos! :D They are very pretty too! One is 15 and the other is 17. The 15 year old lady was a Singaporean but she migrated to Australia when she was Primary 1 and now she is back at Singapore! She has a brother at Trombone Section and a sister at flute section. Also, her parents followed them and came to Singapore! Cool Max! Sorry no pictures yet because we didn't take a lot of pictures with them. back to top? |

The Shinee's new single Juliette. I've watched and it's very nice! :D The dance moves are very cool too! I wanna learn~ But I know it's way off my limits. Gahh...
Anyway, be sure to watch and listen to it! It's really very nice! The dance moves are really awesome! Waa~~~~~ Even now I'm listening to it. I think I am a bit addicted to it. It's all Tricia Ding's fault. She let me listen to it in her phone. And now, see the state I am in now. :DD Do you know they have song teasers. It's like a short preview of the song. So cool~ :D back to top? |

![]() Happy or Not
Was late for school for just ONE minute! Dang. But the school service was light. Just carry some bags to the art room, throw away the shredded paper and tear some plastic files. WooHoo~
School lessons were boring. AND SSRP FOR HOME ECONS! That's no good news because today was a practical lesson!!! And the practical was PASTA! Man... Thus, spent the 3 periods playing people's iPhone games like Kart rider and TapTap. :D Also, during Geography lessons, ms Lim sort of scolded Tricia Ding for always falling asleep and she cried because she was wrongly accused. Ms Lim even said that if we are gonna carry on this attitude, then she is also gonna scold more people and making them cry, saying it's her entertainment and she's gonna be our meanest form teacher. Like WHAT?! Some of our classmates said that she is a bit*h. Al' well, having said that, she stormed off. Anyway, was supposed to take back our Science test paper but we did a stupid survey on the Science lessons. What a waste of time. Moving on, so after the school service, went to have lunch and then band (tutoring). Mr Ramu did some warm-ups with us. And after that, he talked about the percussion festival and the competition. Then he asked if we had practiced fully on our parts but we all said no. He then told us that he wanted to see the all the pieces ready by next week's setionals. He left afterwards. Some juniors nowadays are really complacent and they don't really give much care to what they are supposed to do. Especially **, I was really angry with him. At first gerald asks him to try out my part and found out that he could and straight away exchange scores between me and him. I really wanted to play that part but I was also very worried that I couldn't managed. I really do want to play that part. But since he can sightread it well and probably play it with perfection with only a few practises and probably the change was better for the section, I let him play my part. I went to try out his part and was quite cool so since I've taken over his part, I have to perfect it as much as I can to catch up for the next tutoring. I was practising my new part but there he is disturbing me. He kept on snatching away the score and ran around with it. I was really irritated and I've decided not to practise it at the moment. I ignored him and hope that he at the least have some sense of remorse and give the score back to me. Instead, he continued playing and fooling around. He went around to play all the percussion instruments. He probably thinks that he is very good and doesn't need to practise any further. Okay fine, since you have confidence that you can play well when the next tutoring comes, so be it. But others need to practise yet you stopped them from doing so. He most probably will be the next next SL. Hopefully he will wake up from his selfishness and be more serious. Wish everything was back to when Minyi, Brenda and Amanda was still Sec 3 and we will be having a lot of fun together during sectionals. Except when sometimes the seniors neglected us and played their own pieces... back to top? |

![]() Samba Whistle
There is no test today but there is 2 tomorrow. Science and Home Econs.
Went for Science remedial today to prepare myself for tomorrow's test. The teacher is very good! She went through the paper really well and told us why and wrote down some stuffs on the board. Later on, I went to band to practise my St. Thomas part. I had to play the samba whistle at one of the part and there's a solo?! My Gosh! Holy mama! The Samba whistle requires a lot of fast air. But the sound is really COOOOOL! :D But I got quite dizzy afterwards because I blew too much air. :D Stupid Gerald, let me hear the MTDC Percussion ensemble song, so nice, so melodious that I quite regretted not joining MTDC. But if that's what it takes to meet such a wonderful and inspiring tuition teacher, I rather not go MTDC. :) ![]() |

![]() Majulah Singapura
Today, there's Junk Jam. And Mr Ramu taught us new things, like Stationary & Move groove, Call & Echo/Answer, Full Body groove! :D SUPER COOL! But there was a test afterwards. During Maths lessons, we got our papers back and I got an A2, 19/25. After school, there was CCA. Mr Brando Tan didn't come, had no idea why. But it's more relaxing and less pressurising. Hahas. Did some Symphonic Band Technique and High School Band Clinic. I can't even sight-read and play properly 4 bars on the mallet. Dang. Xueqi is such a pro when she sight-reads and play. How? I can't sight-read and play properly. D: Imma such a failure. Anyway, after saddening warm-ups, we practise our Majulah Singapura. As Jan and Gerald went down for the NDP Rehearsal, I covered Jan's part but there wasn't enough people to cover Gerald's part. After CCA, went opposite bubble tea shop and chit-chatted for awhile before going home. P.S. Stupid Gerald, he didn't print finish the scores and thus resulting us could not practise our parts. He brought home the scores during Friday, he had the weekends to print the scores. Don't know what he doing during the weekends. Argh! back to top? |
